I’ve always wanted to know how to program. Technology has always been interesting to me and everything that has to do with building things using technology. I’ve already started but never finished. I want to become knowledgeable in this field to be able to build my own ideas in the future.
I know for big projects I can’t do it alone but I want to help the team if it is a big project.
I started about 3 days ago and it was hard to choose which technology to choose. I decided to go with PHP as I am more interested into building back-end functionalities to create apps that do something. There are many other languages such as Python, Javascript (Node Js), Ruby…
I choosed PHP as Laravel is an extremely good library and I am planning to use it in the future. Also PHP is still very used and is the king of freelance today.
I found many ressources online (cs50, codecademy, freecodecamp etc).
I decided to go with a book called: PHP and MySql web development 5th edition. I am now at page 63 of the book and find it very interesting.
I now know how to use the basics of PHP, how to send the data form html to php. I am now learning on how to open, write, overwrite files using php.
We will see what has yet to come but I for sure want to be able to say in the future: I am developing this app because I have this idea and to be able to know what to do and how to program.
It’s just the beginning.
